Circa 1988 this is a pewter and I believe copper pressing of the limited edition Salute to America belt buckle designed by Harley Davidson and produced by Brookfield Collectors Guild out of Milwaukee Wisconsin. Measures 3 3/8″ across, 2 3/8″ high. As you can see, the back of this was never pressed. As pictured it is approximately 202 grams (7.1 oz on my scale). Seems to me to be way to heavy for a belt buckle. I believe this may have been a pre-production Test Pressing, but I have no documentation to that fact. Regardless, it is now a cool a plaque waiting for you to make a purpose for it.
